Kaiserslautern has signed 18-year-old forward Thierry Tazemeta from Borussia Dortmund's academy. The young attacker is moving to Betzenberg for the next season after showcasing an outstanding performance last year. Tazemeta, who plays for the Austria U-21 team, can be deployed across the front three. In 27 appearances for Dortmund's U-19s, he scored 15 goals and provided nine assists. Sporting director Marcel Klos praised him as a top international talent, highlighting his technique, power, and pace. Klos noted that Tazemeta's runs behind the defense will be a valuable addition to the team. Tazemeta himself stated that he could not turn down an offer from such a traditional club and was thrilled when the offer arrived. He added that discussions with the club's hierarchy made him feel trusted. Tazemeta joins Kaiserslautern as the club prepares for the upcoming season in the 2. Bundesliga.
